The art of folding a katana dates back to the olden days in Japanese sword making where the steel was heated and folded, removing impurities from the steel. The Ten Ryu Ancient Warrior Folded Katana has a hand forged and folded high carbon steel blade with prominent hada and faux hamon. The tsuba has a warrior and dragon motif with gold highlights. The tsuka is wrapped in black cotton with authentic ray skin. This battle ready katana comes with a wood saya with black lacquered finish and black sageo. The Ancient Warrior Folded Katana includes a sword maintenance kit and black sword bag.
